We only see Koreans, Japanese and Chinese as Asians. Did you know Indians are Asians?! Not all Asians have light skin and small eyes.

We call Mexicans and everyone who speaks Spanish, Spanish/Hispanic.

We call all black people in America, African Americans. Obviously not realizing that not all black people’s (black Haitians, Jamacians, Cubans etc.) history/ancestors/culture is “Martin Luther King, Slavery, etc

We don’t see South American people as Americans.

But at the same time, we are such an educted nation. Why does this happen?

- Again!! I have to post this all the time…….. If you are someone from the United States who is not like what I described above, then I am not talking about you. I am not generalizing “all” people from the US. I am from the US myself.
